

If it is the video card, it's strange that a firmware update would cause some kind of change in the boot order, or the Boot Manager settings.


Which OS were you using when you did the firmware update on the new video card? Or did you mean a firmware update for the mother board? With all the talk about windows 7 use I'm more peeved there is not a windows 7 compatibility mode for this or clear the loader in the bios menu. Clearing cmos didn't seem to work and my media stuff that I have to use are on a seperate drive so I'm reinstalling windows 7(I at least have the updates and drivers ).Īlso wondering since if the card had anything to do with my booting failure will removing fudge it up again?
